Twenty years into the 2nd millennium, the earth is attacked and conquered by an off-world alien invader. The few surviving remnants of humanity have somehow managed to survive, having been driven into hiding in isolated colonies in the deep and dark oceans of their now lost world. The efforts of the desires and struggles of those survivors manifest themselves some one hundred years later in a strike force comprised of one human male and four cybernetically enhanced (and very voluptuous young) women warriors. While being few in numbers, this special strike team has been specially trained and equipped to carry humanities hopes of freedom to invaders on the surface. With the odds against them, any chance of victory rests in the team’s success of a prolonged stealthy guerrilla attack against an enemy who has never known defeat. And so, their battle begins....

Dennou Sentai Voogie`s Angel
I was aware of Voogie's Angel being a mess from the get-go given Masami Ohbari's involvement in this and it met my rather low expectations between its messy plot, mood dissonance, and the scantily-clad attire of its main female characters. The attempt to play things off more serious in its final episode despite the lack of proper depth given to its story and characters is just the cherry on top of how much of a dumpster fire this baby was. I only recommend this trash heap if you're in the mood to dabble into much of the trash that Masami Ohbari's dished out as a series director.

Omg this is JCSTaff? They must've done this after Garzey's Wing.
It's not the greatest. It's funny as they fly around in their giant pig. Well at least it's watchable.

Don't know about this series.. but the <rightstuf> is offering a discounted (3-episode) DVD special on this OVA series.. (humm? is this a good or bad sign? ) ...
